This event is being organised by the Braintree District Chairwoman Vanessa Santomauro, in aid of her three nominated charities.
Congratulations to James Davis who has raised nearly £600 through his Charity Golf Day at The Notley's Golf Club & Venue Thank you so much James for your support, everyone really enjoyed the day and the weather was wonderful.

We’re really pleased to tell you that our recent application to be part of the Co Op Community Token Scheme has been successful!
Tokens will be collected for Talk Listen Care, from Monday 16th July at the following stores for 3 months;
· Hatfield Peverel
· Silver End
The Community Token Scheme is only open to members of the Co-op. Every time members shops with Co Op, they’ll be given a token. The more tokens in our box, the bigger the share of the £1000 we could receive.

Thank you to those of you who nominated Talk Listen Care, for the Braintree District Volunteer Awards 2018. Unfortunately, we did not win, but the recognition to our organisation is very much appreciated. Once again we congratulate the very worthy winners, for all that they give to many organisations within our area. The Braintree District is very fortunate to have so many passionate and committed volunteers.
Talk Listen Care are so grateful to have received a grant from the Comic Relief Community Cash fund. This money will really help us kick start the start of our Charity. We thank Essex Community Foundation for the support and guidance from the start.

ECF have awarded over 7,000 grants to support a variety of voluntary organisations and projects.
Huge congratulations and a massive thank you to the amazing Lynne Culham on completing the Witham Running Club, May Day 10.
This was a difficult and very personal challenge for Lynne.
In Lynne's words:
This is the first 10 mile race I have trained for.
I'm not the fastest on the planet, this will be a big challenge for me, but no greater that everyone who benefits from TLC. It's a privilege to run for TLC and I am grateful for the support.
We can’t thank you enough for putting yourself through the training and running on such a hot day. We are very proud of you Lynne.
