Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees. Thank you also, to everyone of you that has helped support Talk Listen Carein our first year. @Essex_HS Talk,Listen,Care are a new non profit making organisation currently going through CIO registration to provide counselling and mental health support in the Braintree District. The charitable organisation are working in partnership with Essex County Council youth services to provide a number of therapeutic groups.
"We are thrilled with this very kind donation from the Quackers group who work hard every year to provide family fun whilst raising vital funds for our community. The money will make such a difference to us just starting out and will help fund art materials for our up and coming therapuetic art group for young people." On Thursday 24th August Talk listen Care will be holding a therapeutic Art taster day from 10am-2pm at the Carousel Childrens Centre for young people aged 13-15, please email: [email protected] for further details. A NEW support group is in desperate need of a home after their bid to move to the High Street was turned down. Talk Listen Care was set up this year following the closure of a young carer support group in Braintree and Halstead. Clare Reeve, a private counsellor from Braintree, wants to provide a free ‘safe haven’ for young people struggling with mental health issues. She is raising funds to name Talk Listen Care an official charity, and is trying to find a home for the group.
